A String of Pearls is a heart-warming and heart-wrenching story about three generations of women and their struggles in love and relationship. It is a story of Ignacia Sanchez who was forced to marry a man she did not love; of Berta Chan who married the man she loved but physically abused her; and of Teresa Andrews, whose doubts and fears about love and relationship almost cost her the love of her life.
